Nice to be accepted into the forum. Very interested in SP250's although I don't own one yet. Pep.

welcome! great choice in cars and great forum to find yourself at - there was a guy from Saskatchewan having one restored here in Ontario but I kind of lost track of the project.

thanks Basil. i've actually found one that i'm going to look at next saturday. fully disassembled so i get to see everything. just have to take a risk that all the parts are there.

Welcome Pep, if I can give you any long distance help please ask. I bought my 1st SP in 1961& my current SP in 1969.

Hi Dart, thank you for contacting me. Where are you located? (love the 250 MK2 but haven't found a LHD version yet.)

Pep- I don't think they made many LHD's. They were never sold in the US. I am on the E. coast in Baltimore. There are a number of SP F'book groups with "members" ready to answer very specific ?'s about parts, sources, etc. My car underwent a full body-off restoration that took almost 5 years. Was finished about 11 years ago. Because I am not in the "keep it original" club I had a number of mods done to improve drivability, safety & reliability.

looks like a great project

Hi Dart. Don't have a chassis number yet. Car was three deep in storage. Also, won't be picking up until Spring after it warms up. -22c tonight and forecast high of -27c this Sunday. 🥶
