I rather think the camera was mounted on a rig similar to a "Selfie Stick" attached to the bike. Movement is too consistent to be from a second bike.

Have a look at the video... the camera appears a distance from the back of the bike. There’s no visible device attached to the back. Drone?

It is a stick or rod, probably attached to his helmet. The stick is removed from the video either in real time or in post. This video shows a halo in the sky where it is removed visually. At about 1:5 you can see the stick from a drone shot.

Lesson #1 of Mountain Biking -- Look where you want to go and not where you don't want to go.
That being said, my rule #2 is "Discretion is the better part of valor" -- If you don't think you can clear a section of trail or a trail obstacle, dismount and walk it. Indecision can be your worst enemy on the trail. The trail isn't going anywhere. Come back and try it another day when you have the confidence to do it. And, walking it sometimes gives you insight into a working line that you didn't see while you were in the saddle.
Yeah, I'd be walking this one.
