It has gotten better since it first came out for sure. Can be frustrating at times but over all I think Siri does an amazing job of understanding.
Well, let me introduce you. Meet the original voice of Siri:I don't even know her, so I doubt she'd understand me.
They also passed on Strother Martin:Most people don't know that the first choice of a voice was Robert DeNiro, but they decided a phone that said, "You talkin' to me?? Well I'm the only one here, who the **** do you think you're talkin' to", wasn't the image they really wanted to grow the brand..
Been a few years since I heard it. Fixed. So close, and I've used it that way too. but the original quote doesn't have the "a".
I'm using a Samsung smart phone right now. I held on to my old LG flip phone until it crapped out and now I'm in the 21st century. I do kinda miss the old flip phone though. No Siri, no Alexa, a "dumb" phone Motorola Razr. I'm not important enuff to need anything else.
Nothing like an old Nokia. I had one, dropped it on the ground while getting in a company truck and didn't realize it for a couple of days. I knew I couldn't find it, but where did it go? Finally, I wondered if I had dropped it at that site. Went back - there it was in the gravel. It had been run over and rained on, and the screen was cracked, but it still worked.I miss my old Nokia too, but the battery went bad and I found that while I could get a new one, I had to order 30k of them since they were out of regular production. Even at just $3 a pop, upgrade was the obvious choice..
At a church retreat centre not far from here they were pouring concrete flors and the concrete truck driver's phone slipped out of his pocket - came back a few days later, dialed his number and it rang under the congrete. They actually scraped it out and returned it to him and patched the floor.Nothing like an old Nokia.
