Just noticed that he had a parachute on. Not sure he had enough altitude to use it in the tunnel :rolleyes2:

Hmmm... I can see it on my end.... let me see if I can fix

try now

That worked! Yep, that's definitely crazy! Remember the movie, Mad Mad Mad Mad World when they flew the Beach 18 through the hanger? I think this beats it.
I certainly do remember that scene... Buddy Hacket was flying it (at least on-screen).

much crazy - I genuinely wonder when someone doing red bull stuff is going to die tragically. I don't even have instagram but, it seems like people are regularly dying falling off cliffs bridges motorcycles and various other thing. :rolleyes2:

Well, Red Bull's tag line is "Red Bull will give you wings".... just maybe the ones angles use.

Impressive - but yeah a bit crazy for me. I did notice that they had all the ventilation fans in the tunnels shut down. I'm sure they picked a day with minimal breeze as well to minimize and stray air currents in there. I wonder how much it cost to shut down the highway for however long it took to set this all up and film it. It seemed pretty mild when he was just flying along at barely above takeoff speed, but then ripping through that next tunnel at speed was where it got nerve wracking. Great demo of skill - I like riding in planes but thats one flight I don't think I'd care to be on.

Looks like they did it in the morning as well when it wasn't as bright. Can you imagine flying into a tunnel at noon?

The pilot must have had Tunnel Vision to complete the stunt :bananawave::cheers:

I saw that on the evening news the other night.
Formula 1 cars, due to more down-force than the mass of the car, have the ability to drive inverted in a tunnel.
The tunnel needs to be round enough to get the car inverted.
As far as I know, no one has attempted the stunt, but it is theoretically possible.

Cool, but it's just a loop de loop. I am pretty sure the comment about the F1 cars was that they could drive upside down for a sustained period do too their downforce being so great.

Ok, the thread has already been hijacked so "now for something entirely different." wink, wink. A few years back when the SLS was still current, I was helping our local Mercedes dealer get some of his private collection ready for Barret-Jackson.
He had two of them that I got to drive and move from one location to another. They were not going to auction, just changing location. One was red and the other white, flat white. He said they charged an extra $10,000 for the flat white paint job. I thought it should have been a credit instead of charge. Oh, I didn't get them anywhere near that kind of speed, all in downtown OKC.
