Hi everyone, new 71 TR6 owner here looking forward to reading articles and generally understanding what I’ve just bought.
I also own a Land Rover Discovery 1 for off roading and green laning and a Discovery 4 as my everyday car.
I used to own an MGB GT and my first job after leaving school was at Ron Hopkinson MG centre in Derby, long closed down. Anybody remember that company or use them?

Welcome to BCF!

How'd you get interested in the TR6? That's quite a popular classic, altho' I started with a 1955 Jaguar back in my school days. Wish I still had it.

Here's a memory for you:

Wow, I remember those adverts and the prices, wish things were like that now lol.

I always liked the TR6 but never got round to getting one, but luckily one came up and I bagged it. I love it though as with most things of that age, it needs a bit of work. I’m handy with spanner’s so am looking forward to working on it. Seems simple enough compared to some cars.
