Hi have an MGB 1980 Roadster with stage 2 engine, sports exhaust, Weber 45dcoe carbs, chrome conversion, wire wheels. Just finishing back on the road restoration with a view to further improvements. 2nd MG I’ve had as recently sold MGB GT. 2 was really too much.
Replaced clutch which practically meant most of the car and had some serious fun (frustration) doing it.
Various forums helped enormously as well as some tools for the job.
Car not much faster than standard but sounds lovely.
Hope to share and glean from you all wherever you are.

Thanks for letting me join. We have owned our TR3 for fifty years and enjoy the heck out of it. It is my daily driver and once a year go on a road trip from anywhere from 4,000 to 6,000 miles. I travel on these trips with a group called the Texas FOGs even though I live in Florida. We all drive Triumphs and have a blast

* Fat Old Guys (FOGS),
OR Fast Old Guys....
a friend at church belongs to a band called FOG - Four Old Guys - which is hilarious because there are five of them and even though the acronym still works, it's Four Old Guys. :rolleyes2:
