New old guy - Lotus Elan, Europa and Bugeye

Hello all,
I've owned Brit cars since I was 16 (1967 MGBGT). I've had lots of different ones along the way (MGBs, T/C Lotus Europas, Midgets, Elan's, etc). Even a Datsun 2000 (blasphemy! But a fine autocross car).

Currently restoring a Europa S2 and have my Elan in line after that. I've had the Bugeye since 74 and drive it very regularly. It's quite heavily modified and very zippy.

Looking forward to being a forum participant.

Cheers TonyWa

Welcome aboard, Tony! I have always loved the Europa - came "this close" to buying a JPS Europa that was owned buy a guy who claimed to have been the drummer for the 1910 Fruitgum Company (a 60's or 70's bubblegum pop band). It was really nice - black with gold pinstripe as I recall. He was only asking 10k but at the time I just couldn't quite swing it.

I believe they had the pop hit "Simon Says"!
