Memories of fun days

This one instantly puts me in my car as a HS senior cruising the main drags of Denver on a Saturday night with my friends.

Great memories. I would have been cruising North Front Street in Belleville. I also find it interesting to see which Canadian bands made it south. In Canada we have Canadian content rules for radio so it isn't always easy to know what went through the USA - especially in pre interwebnet days.

BTW does it seem like there are more instruments in the soundtrack than in the band - like a mandolin (ukulele?) and a lead guitarist?

Finally. 'she feeds me love and tenderness and macaroons' ah for the time of simpler lyrics. 😁

Lip-synced to the recording...

And it's a [tenor] banjo - "Banjo and me, we got a feel for singing"...

Guess it's the only song that mentions a banjo and macaroons. 😁

Banjo makes so much more sense - love me a simple song

A band that is/was based in Calgary here, they were still playing music just prior to Covid... I saw them play perhaps five years for a local event
