First car show of 2021

Learned about a local car show on Sunday so jumped in the vehicles and went for a ride. Our 63 Mini and it's support vehicle 73 GMC. Mini and Maxi. Little British Car and Giant Motor Coach.

Today I walked through the park where I used to show Fagin most often. No show today, but the three main events are still on the calendar for this year. I look forward to visiting there this summer. Your vehicles are impressive too.

They just had one this last weekend out here by me, supposedly a huge hit. Weather was perfect for it. Wish the little car was finished so I could participate!!!

I've always liked those GMC motorhomes, even better when they are painted in bright colours...

Alas, no weekend car shows here for quite awhile here in Alberta, second summer in a row At this point even the formally organized cruise night events are dropping like flies... Most of Canada is in various states of restriction and/or lockdown...

It appears that most of the larger car shows have already decided to cancel, I've also been told from one person from a local club that there is a rather thick book about event safety this summer from Alberta Health, which essentially makes it prohibitive and challenging to even hold an event... Maybe I'm just getting too impatient and need to keep the longer game in mind...

That's either a Painted Desert or a Canyon Lands. Ours is a Sequoia which came in either white (like ours), yellow, or green. There were 4 models available in 73 - Sequoia, Glacier- which was blue inside, Canyon Lands and Painted Desert. The Painted Deserts were usually yellow and the Canyon Lands were usually orange.

Went to a show a couple of weeks ago at a VFW. It was to help the family of a member who had just passed. There were a good variety of cars including 3 LBC if you include the AC Cobra as British. If not there were just 2 My TR3A and a TR7.
