Happy Eater to all whom that applies. (And blessed belated Passover to those to whom that applies)

Online church for us today and a quiet afternoon. Then about 10 lbs of pork into the smoker, slaw and beans - strawberry short cake as well. (Because nothing celebrates the resurrection of a Jewish Messiah like a pork product.) 😂

Seriously though hope it was meaningful and safe for you and yours.

Same to you and all members.
had about 40 children on the field hunting on Saturday...great fun to watch!

Lovely. we reentered lockdown Saturday - which actually didn't change anything for Toronto but did the rest of the province (bringing it into line with Toronto) meaning the largest outdoor gathering permitted is 5 people.

Happy Easter. I agree with celebrating the resurrection of the messiah with pork products, so we had a ham with dressing, baked beans, deviled eggs, egg salad, rolls, and a carrot cake.

Doubled the requisite pork at our place - smoked ham slices, baby lima beans cooked w/ bacon, and potato salad.

Then half a ham and swiss sammich before turning in last night, just to be sure...

Had nearly a dozen family visit yesterday afternoon, 4 generations in all ranging from 5 y/o to 82 including SWMBO and me. Kids brought ham and turkey slices. We supplied the home made bread and egg salad. A great time was had by all.

My mom made croissants so I made a ham sandwich with one. I love big meals like that because I can live off the left overs for a week or so.

Spent nearly four hours replacing a leaking outdoor faucet. It'd been in place since 1980, would NOT come apart to R&R seals. Many implements of destruction involved in the replacing. Later grilled chicken thighs for dinner. Smashed spuds 'n gravy to accompany. All in all, a good day.

Streamed mass then had the kids an granddaughter over for Ham and fixin's. Later we all sat out on the deck and enjoyed watching the little on run around and explore.

Had to bow out from the traditional "Semi-annual Obligatory In-law Visit" this time, woulda been a stick-in-the-mud due to mobility issues. Horsemits went solo, the fam spans four generations; her mum is now 91, the grandkids, spouses and great-grandkids amount to two dozen people. Always a great gathering, the egg hunts by the wee ones is always entertaining. At least I anticipate mum-in-law will ship back a "care package" with enough of the goodies they all contributed to the fete.
