I hate to seem like an ingrate but I prefer the old format. That said I'm sure I'll get used to it.

More importantly I am not seeing any posts on the Austin-Healey forum to which I subscribe. I would find it hard to believe that no oine is posting.

I know that change is sometimes difficult, but the old forum software was VERY outdated and no longer being supported - no security updates - nothing. This software is lightyears ahead of it in many ways that may not be apparent to folks at first glance. Hopefully in time you will come to appreciate how much better this platform is. (Just the simple task of adding a picture to a post is 100x easier). Not sure why you're not seeing posts, but make sure it says you are following a thread that you are in. I'm not 100% sure that subscriptions to threads from the old forum carried over to the new one.

As we age we seem to grow more impatient with the changes we encounter, and likely many British Car Forum readers are having that experience. Personally, noticing this tendency in my own thinking, I now make considerable effort to be more accepting of change, less judgemental in my reaction to new opinions and ideas, and simply kindlier toward my fellow Americans of every persuasion. I will take a long view on adjusting to the changes in the forum, grateful that Basil and the many contributors have spent so much time and energy in our behalf.

Thanks RD, that's all one can ask. By the way, I have a new forum (near the top of the forum list) to discuss the new forum platform and where I am posting lots of informative videos on how to navigate this new platform (though most of this platform is pretty intuitive).
