Morning Everyone,

My name is Steve Martin I'm in Auckland, New Zealand and am owner of a 1972 CP TR6 which I've owned since 2012, the latest of some 9 Triumphs I've owned since 1984, mostly the Big 6 2500 TC Saloons. I look forward to being a part of and contributing to the forums.

I'm Vice President of the New Zealand TR Register, where we have some 300 members in varying degrees of being active. Our last National Weekend was fortunately pre Covid-19 and we had 67 TR's from TR2 through TR8, a great time enjoyed by all who participated. We also had a contingent that popped across the Tasman from Australia, with 10 in all, though without their cars this time.

British cars are definitely in my DNA with many different marques having played a part in my life, either owned/driven by my Parents or myself.

Thanks Steve

Welcome to the British Car Forum Steve. You live in a lovely part of the world. I'm sure you know Matt T. who is also from Auckland and has a yellow TR6.
When you get time do post some pics of from the meet-ups.
Check out the "Triumph" section as well as the "Pub" section.

Thanks Elliot, yes I know Matt, very nice man and a great addition to our local Auckland membership. His profession often keeps him away from group events and runs, however when he does join in it is usually with one of his young daughters, and they both enjoy themselves. I'll do my best to upload some photos.

Our President is also in Auckland and is the owner of a lovely Damson 6 with Tan interior, I'll see if I can't find a photo. Watch this space!

Regards Steve

Yes indeed... Matt is a nice guy. I got the opportunity to meet up with him in Auckland a couple of years ago. Your president has good color taste in his TR6 :D
