My dads car had the blackout headlights like this, even though I was only 4 years old, I remember them.

Well I have to admit that wasn't dads car! If it was and mom saw that picture, he wouldn't have made it past the war! :hammer: :highly_amused:

From what I recall - they would paint the entire headlight except for a little slit in the center. Not exactly sure how that worked when it actually got dark.

Don't forget they were probable Lucas lights so it would not make too much difference.
