and I am so far from impressed, one would have thought it to be a 1972 Chevrolet Vega.

Why?

Cayenne is another head scratcher.

And the Jaguar F-Pace is yawn worthy.
 
Some companies shouldn't build station wagons.

not the purpose of the original discussion, but somewhat valid. Like VW building illegal polluting diesels to allow them to make everything else?

Or Ford building Galaxies so they could do the GT-40?

P-cars have sorta been niche performance all along. But a performance name on a grocery getter SUV?

Maybe Rolls will start producing very small, high performance roadsters that will fit in their boots since they make so much on the big cars.

Heaven help the Corvette if Cadillac sales tank.
