Floors have been replaced in the BJ8 I'm restoring. None of the holes for seats, exhaust hangars, heat shields, etc. were transferred and original metal has been discarded by previous shop. some measurements regarding location of these holes would be greatly appreciated.

I believe the measurements and photo were done by John Loftus at my request when I was working on my restoration. John was a regular contributor a while back, but I donāt know if he ever finished his own restoration. Anyone kept up with John?

Thereās a seatbelt attachment
piece, one for each side, that goes under the floorboards. Be sure you have that!

I did use the dimensions as discribed in the previous post and it has worked out well. But here is another thought that I came across on a BugEye that I put new floors in. I would use trial & error to put the seat where it works best for you. Sometimes a tall person or a short person may find that the use of the clutch is more comfortable if the seat is closer or further away.
