Bumper bracket and fan shroud color

Hi! The previous owner of my Tricarb did a fine job in restoring it, using all the right parts and a lot of new ones (I have lots of old invoices for parts that he kept). However, he seems to have missed som items when it comes to the correct colors. The engine was rebuilt and painted - black! It will have to stay that way until it is time for another rebuild.
There are however some other small items that are easier to correct, but before doing so I would like to ensure that I do it right. Therefore two questions:
-The bumper brackets are painted in the same color as the body (Colorado Red). I assume they should be black. Am I right?
-The radiator is all black so I will paint the top of the fan shroud red as I understand it should be. Is Colorado Red the right color (or close enough) or should I use another color?

Thanks in advance to all the helpful members of this great forum!

Bumper brackets black. There was a recent thread re the "Chinese Red" used on the fan shroud. IMO Colorado Red might be a little light toward the orange. Lots of folks like Rustoleum "Safety Red".

Anderson-Moment, p 82, upper left: [radiator fan shroud] "...was brush-painted a glossy red with brush strokes quite visible."

These are the kind of questions that are answered by the much-maligned-by-those-who-have-never-even-seen-them (the Germans have a single word for that) "Concours Guidelines." Copies of this product of decades of careful research are available for a nominal cost from Mike Osipik.

Thank you Reid. I have emailed Mike Osipik and asked for an order form. It will be interesting to see what more needs to be corrected.
