While restoring my 1874 reed organ, I found this video. The organist dedicates the video to the history of his family church in Ontario.


You see the growth of the church building, and the congregation, as he plays.

Very cool.

The "Berlin" organ he plays was built in Berlin, Ontario. The town was renamed Kitchener in 1916, for obvious reasons!
 
Interesting. I have never heard of Wabewawa Ontario - though likely it is/was near Wawa Ontario - where it is cold enough to freeze your organ! :smile:

Wow, I'm impressed! Sorry I missed your thread back in August, probably while I was on the road.

I've got an old player piano that I hope to restore someday; but even as new, it won't be nearly as nice. But I never learned to play keyboards, so at least I'll be able to hear it play :smile:
