Here's an old Moss Motoring article about an electric conversion to a TR4. I could actually see it as long as I could keep all the drivetrain components except the engine. Some of the conversions that are shown in the article show Tesla technology being put under the hood; that's a far cry (and LOTS more $) from installing a stock electric motor and a bunch of lead/acid batteries.
