The nice thing about the word "big" is that it is a relative term. "It's not big" relative to a train caboose. (Best when the last part of the sentence is spoken with your inside voice.)

But when she starts asking in more quantitative terms, things get real, i.e. dangerous. "Do these pants look tighter than last year?" (Must have shrunk.) "I used to be able to share pants with our daughter. Has she lost that much weight?" (I guess the "freshman 15" is negative...)
 
I get to buy more cars, so I wouldn't touch that question! :emptiness:
 
I learned long ago when my wife wants my opinion, she'll give it to me.... :D
