TR6 Body Jig

Anyone have plans for a jig to hold and work on the body tub while the frame is being rebuilt. Seen on at a body shop the other day that the owner built for his VW Bug. Built out of 4x4 and 2x4s.

Have you seen my version of the wooden rotisserie that I am using on my TR250 project? It has worked out quite well. I used this in conjunction with steel reinforced door openings and cross bracing.

Dollies on the bottom are next level genius. I would have drug it around my garage and drive for months before that occurred to me.

Oh yes, I forgot to mention I added those ! They came in handy, with swivels on the front - as I wheeled it in and out of the garage countless times for sand blasting.

Here are the two jigs I made when restoring my 6 a couple of years ago. One is the rotisserie and the other jig was very useful in moving the body around; the wheels were most helpful .

Here I am almost a year later and that tells you how far behind I am on this project. Imagine that! But does anyone have a copy of the plans for the wooden rotisserie as the Moss link doesn't work any more? Planning to get the body off the frame soon.

Ok got my 4 basic boards cut out. Did anyone compensate for the angle of the B post or just let it ride? Thinking of cutting out some spacers to make it square to the body and floor.

I also don't see how the front board is attached to the 2x4 that is attached to the A post. I bought 4 lag bolts and was going to go into the sides of the 2x4s.

Thanks all we did it! Didn't try to flip it but proably Monday. Got to clean out the other garage then flip it on it's side and be ther till the frame is done. Going to start another tread as I found more stuff.
