1950's Shadow. Bit of a wiring issue...

DSCF6880.jpg

To access the stuff behind the dash, find relays, etc. this all must come out. Ugh.

good luck! can't you just drill a couple access holes?

If I were you doc I’d crack open a couple CAB’s and ponder the problem for a while

Doc, a 50's Shadow? Perhaps a 50's Wraith or a Cloud? or a 60's Shadow?

Luckily, this "project" is with my pal and prior partner, not me. The owner brought this car into our shop two decades ago for a service, oil change, etc. Reportedly he'd bought it from someone in France. Never mentioned electrical problems... hasn't been on the road in 16 years. Turn signals work unless the headlights are turned on. Then the turn signal circuit is powered constantly. We're thinkin' some Frenchman did some "creative" wiring to make the two bulbs "extra tail lighting" after dark. We have the schematics for these cars and my pal says there are a LOT of wires in there that don't match the map. Ugly.

That is one of the things I do not miss about being a mechanic.
