Proper attachment of Demister tubes and vents

I'm putting my Bugeye back together and wondering the proper hardware to attach the demister vents and tubes. The metal vents have two small holes that match up to holes in the body above the dash. I'm assuming a couple of machine screws were used down through the metal body through the vent and bolts from below? Also, the corrugated tubes have only one clamp each. I think this attaches the elbow to the tube. What about the tube to demister connection?

Thanks for any help

Fred,
My defroster vents were attached with slotted sheet metal screws from above and the wire clamps were on the vent and aluminum tube that fits in the elbow.

Thanks Rut,
So wire clamps were on both ends of the tube?

Yes, with a slip fit of the aluminum into the rubber elbow.
