Bought a 1974 TR6, no trim tag on door post. Car resprayed ( jams and under bonnet as well )in saphire ( i think ), pulled windscreen and the is what is the orig color is. I think it's delft blue but everything I read says they use it until '75. My car is a late '74. Thoughts? I know it doesn't really matter but I need to know ;).

Okay - looking in my archives I find this:

With those samples, Mallard looks close and fits your year (and now your respray looks like Delft).

Get a build sheet from the Heritage Foundation and the factory color will be listed. It's not cheap, but if you really, really want to know............send them your commission number and they will tell you the rest.

Any links to them, google came up empty for me.

I can't help with the name of the color but I really like the blue behind the scuttle vent. I would like to paint my latest project a similar color.

I'll let you know as I ordered a heritage certificate from the British motor museum, should have it in a few weeks.
