Headers to buy - DW or AHspares?

A friend is looking to buy headers for his BN6...

The Welch headers require modifying the outrigger cutout to BJ8 specs. Does anyone know if the AHspares are the same?

Is there a comment about the build quality or fit of one or the other?

If one is using the standard muffler and tailpipe, how are these headers connected to the muffler?

Do they fit with the standard log manifold?

Experience-based comments welcomed.

Kirk is a good "local" source for 6-cylinder headers here in the USA.

It would be great if Kirk still made Healey headers.

I bought mine used from them in 2007 and they had been returned by an owner as unable to be installed. Kirk told me they had given up on Healeys. I sent them pictures of my install and never heard back from them.

The Kirks seem higher quality than the Welch/Cape/Maniflow headers in that they have flanges and not the clamp-together connections.

Welch (and probably AH Spares also) sell two types of headers. One for SU's and one for Webers. The difference is in the length of the pipe on exit before they bend downwards. The Webers headers won't fit if you've got SUs. The other way round is OK.
