The crazy price aside who sold them out
do you suppose the contacts are solid gold?
this is to funny happened across a few before wit crazy price but never one sold out!

And they claim to have sold 397 of them! :playful:
 
For some reason when NOS sells out of an item they are able to put ā€œsold outā€ across it and then they change the price to a number just under one thousand dollars. While I forget what they originally sold for, it was reasonable.

Pretty much. They are still in the same location, about 10 miles from me. The difference now is that you canā€™t just walk in and make a purchase over the counter. When you want something you have to call ahead and it will be ready when you get there. Mostly internet sales now.
