Got to meet him right when I moved my adopted sister to MT in 1995. He was picking up his mail at the local post office. We chatted for 5 minutes or so. Seemed to be a gentle soul and a nice person.
 
Just the other night I was watching a re-run of the Carol Burnett shown on MeTV. Jim Nabors was the guest and was excellent playing the "Chinaman" roll in their spoof of "Kung Foo"... "Young Fool".

My mom used to love to listen to him sing. He will be missed.
 
Ran into him in the Honolulu airport in 1979. Literally. We both quickly rounded a corner and RAN into each other. Surprise, surprise, surprise! :emmersed:

Ran across this clip of some cool behind the scenes shots from the Andy Griffith show. Jim Nabors appears a few times. (I remember the show (in black and white) where the old lady sells Barny his first car. I always thought it was a black car, but in these color shots it appears dark green.

What a great episode that one was. On a similar note to the color of the car, the gal I have been seeing has a dark green F250 to pull her horse trailer and my youngest son thought she had gotten a paint job the third time he saw it because he swore it was black the first two times he had seen it.

Coming to car colour, my son is colour blind. I once had a gold Suzuki Samurai - it wasn't until recently that we found out that the entire time I owned it he was convinced it was green.
 
JP, that is fairly funny. I have an uncle who is green red colorblind once he came into Lawton late at night and they had changed all the traffic lights from being hung vertically to being hung horizontally. He just had to wing it.
