Took the (incomplete) paperwork in to VA DMV to get it registered.
I thought that I was saving money by not completing it.
Was told that I can't register a vehicle until I get a VA driver's license,
& to get a driver's license,I have to have proof of residency. The truck registration
expires on Wed.,plus the guy who sold it to me signed on the wrong line,And I don't
get an apartment until tomorrow.
I debated about forging the seller's signature, but decided that It'd be best
to "Do the right thing",& send it to him to sign.I literally lost sleep over this,as I'm
dealing with a government agency,& don't need any more problems.
But the good news is that it passed the state inspection, after failing the first-
time, due to worn out ball joints. That only cost me $1200!
