Healey Week Car Show Pacific Grove, Ca.

Incase anyone is interested here's a DropBox link to my photos from the Monterey International Healey Week Car Show. They closed the main drag in Pacific Grove (next to Monterey) and had about 200 Healey cars... Bigs, Bugs, Nasty Boys, Groove-tastic Jensen-Healeys, and a boatload (literally) from Australia. I couldn't go for the week but had to make the show at least. I was awestruck. The guy with the Alpha 4 cyl. in his Healey won the show in my book.

My car was in the shop for an upgrade... but I did pick her up today. Here she is next to my mechanic's race car. He won a trophy last weekend. Been racing for 40+ years.

those extra wide Healeys with the DMD motors were interesting. I would like to drive one and see if the seats and other stuff is more comfortable.

Thanks for sharing your photos!

Just had a chance to browse the album, Janelle. Thanks so much for posting. Looks like a real candy store for the modified folks and even a lot of more-or-less standard cars have some interesting personalizations. Never saw an Alfa-Healey before! Wish I could read the signage on the car with the stack injections, it's a beauty. Wish I could've been there.

Did you zoom the photos up to 100%? I could read the signs fine.

Thanks, John. I tried zooming from full screen and it didn't work. When I enlarged the small photo it worked fine. Lots of good info on those sheets. The stack fuel injection on the Nasty Boy is quite nice. Pretty commonly used on Cobra replicas, but I've only seen a few on Healeys. All the looks of four Webers with none of the tuning issues.

There was a Cobra there! I'll see if I can zoom in on the info sheet.
