No prizes this year - which is fine - there is no judging just people registered for the show picking their favourites. I think it often has to do with how many people you know.

Possibly a record attendence 1000 plus cars - the weather was actually on the hot side for September. I didn't take a lot of photos, but, this was my very favourite this year: Riley

Some interesting cars this year (every year) about 18 Deloreans - TVRs - a Rover 8 (very unusual) and at the other end of the scale 3 new McLarens.

On a related note, Ms Triss has not been running especially well for a while - we have discussed this elsewhere, on Saturday I replaced a fuel filter, a dodgy plug wire, and the plugs themselves - they were a bit sooty in part because I have been running it with some choke as the idle has been a bit low (500 rpm instead of 800) Was discussing this whole thing with my mechanic who gave me a can of Mopar engine cleaner - much like Seafoam I suspect. Was supposed to spray the can into the carb, shut off the engine and let sit for 3 hours. Did more or less as instructed - and what a difference! Too my ears (and even Ms JP's ears) it ran stronger and more solidly.

I realize it is at some level a liquid version of an Italian tune up, but, I have driven so little in the last few years that I think it just got clogged up. Will keep you posted but seems like a good solution for low mileage driving cars.
