One of the TR6 guys turned me on to a place called Fairhope Iron Works who will sand blast and powder coat frames, parts, etc. I'm so happy with the results I thought I would share the pictures. They also did the seat frames, radiator stays, bumper brackets, etc.

****....wish I had mine powdercoated. I had mine blasted and primed, but they did it in gray. I then have been using Eastwood and even with proper prep it still chips fairly easy and the gray primer comes thru. Looks nice!

I'm sure it's different everywhere. Pretty sure its 2x the price where I live compared to there. Gotta love CA, especially the Bay Area. :-(

what did it cost to powder coat a whole frame?

I almost hate to post the $ amount, but here goes.
Frame, blasted, suspension and diff reinforcements welded in along with any cracks and the whole assembly powder coated...$250 + $35 for the welding.
3 sets of bumper brackets, 2 seat frames, pedal box, 2 radiator stays and some misc parts round the total out to $335.00.

HAHAHA...wow...that is CHEAP! That's probably $1500-2k here. I bet I could have saved at least a third of the cost in frame and body work (strip, prep, paint, etc) if I would have waited and done it somewhere else like CO or NC. But...resources and time were here now to do it. Luckily, everything but the engine machine work I could do on my own. Anyway, looks great! I'm jealous.

Good price, about the same here in AZ. You always get a good price with black because they may do other customer items at the same time.

Beautiful!!

FWIW, I had a frame blasted and epoxy primed for 250, in the greater Pittsburgh area. Very happy, albeit it's not powdercoat!

Marv,
You can always drop off a load of parts with me in Tuscaloosa on your trips to NOLA and I can take them to FIW and bring them back. You could bring a trailer load if you have frames that need done...their turn around time is pretty quick.
