I do like an El Camino - though might prefer a ranchero. <hides>

Today while driving I got passed (with alacrity) by a lovely Karman Ghia - had to be a breathed on engine as I was driving about 70 mph at the time. Coming home saw a 1st gen Accord coupe - goodness they were tiny.

For me, the Karman Ghia was just below my threshold of Interest.
so distnctive you could pick one out a mile away, but kind of "vanilla" or plain, too.
they never seemed to get much press.
However, I never even rode in one.

i do like to see them now.

I know what you mean but they have aged very well and at least here are very rare - Mind you I also saw a late 70's Blazer today - and even that stands out just because they are so rare anymore.

Had a '64 Ghia convertible that I'd love to have once again. Great little cars

I've always been a fan of the El Camino. Never had one, but almost did a couple of times.

I have had one of every generation of ElCamino. wonderful vehicles that were and are, rare enough to be different, and yet very usable.

That is a 78-87 ElCamino
If single headlights it is 78 -81. If dual headlights, 82and newer
Hope that helps Guy.

I saw a stunning '71 ElCamino in Dark Green the other day.
Went back to get a picture,& it was gone.
Also,here's a '79 Blazer that's been on craigslist for a while,
but nobody's buying.I've seen it numerous times.looks good from the street.
