What is this jumbo jet?

Flew back from Florida last week on something called an E 190. Jet Blue. It's an Embraer. 100 seats, 2 and 2 seating. Plenty of legroom too. West Palm to White Plains.

I am likely to never take a trip on a commercial aircraft again. Winged cattle wagons, every one. If I can't get there by driving or sailing, I shouldn't go.

GE sorted their exploding engine issue early in the development phase.

Logged many hours in C-5's, 141's, C-47's... as "baggage". THAT was better than the experience of "modern air travel" IMHO.

Didn't you say the same thing about CAB's?

Don't speak to soon. When someone shows up with "service animal" pig, the airlines may be forced to give it a seat. A "service animal" turkey flew last year.

The last "enjoyable" flight I had was in the Boeing 787 Dreamliner. It was the most comfortable, vibration and turbulence free, and quiet flight I'd ever been on... ever. The LCD blinds were neat... It was also the only flight in recent memory that I'd been on that wasn't packed to the gills w/ passengers. My section of the plane was practically empty. I had a whole row to myself, and no one in the rows in front, behind, or to the side of me.
