i recently ordered some new 5 lug nuts for my 1959 bn6. my current lug nuts require a 3/4 inch socket to remove. the nuts i received require 11/16 socket. i prefer the 3/4 to match the other lug nuts. can i purchase lug nuts locally to fit the 7/16 inch wheel studs? or are healey lug nuts a different mating surface to the wheel? thanks for any help!

Did you get the special locking nuts?

i am not sure of the locking nuts. but, one of the ends did break off of one of the nuts and it appeared to have some sort of lock feature? are these necessary for bolt on wheels? also are they ball type nuts where they mate to the wheel? thanks

can i order ball lug nuts from summit in the correct thread and stud size? i dont like the 11/16 nuts and i dont mind blue loctite for the threads to lock! thank you

i just talked to healey surgeons and the 11/16 nuts are the wrong ones. so....does the healey require a ball or tapered seat where the lug nut mates to the wheel?

the lug nuts are tapered seat and 7/16ths by 20. can be bought locally at most auto stores!

Maxwedge,

The original 3/4" Healey disc wheel lug nuts look like this:
