F-35 Testing

Still strikes me that the Harriers vectored thrust model is a more elegant solution to V/STOL. I guess they didn't think it would work supersonically.
 
I don't think the harrier could take off with that efficiency.
a 50 (+/-) yard rolling takeoff without a catapult!
 
That is a cool video. I am not a big fan of the F-35 program; I think that trying to make one plane fit every roll is folly, but that said, that was an impressive display.
