I've heard two stories re the Signal v Colorado. One of course is that the cars were specially painted Signal Red for the BMC Rally Team, the other is that Colorado red cars were taken straight from the production line to be upgraded to rally spec. Take your pick. Maybe both paints were used over the period from 1958 to 1967.
