All:

I am looking for an exhaust manifold for a 1275. I am seeking the clamp style, not flange.

Please PM me if you have one for sale, with price & shipping costs you are asking. It can be sent to my home in TN (37027).

Thanks,

Mike Pennell

Will an 1100cc exhaust manifold work on a 1275cc? My 1961 Bugeye has an early 1100cc with very nice headers system. I have thought about going with a 1275cc. If it means a new exhaust system, then the 1100 cc is going to stay. The extra power would be nice, but as of now, I have all the power I need, especially with a rib-cage trans and a 3:92 rear end.

Paul, The 1100 manifold will fit the 1275, but it will be more restrictive than the 1275 cast iron manifold. Also, the 1275 manifold uses a 3 bolt flange will a separate seal between the manifold and the pipe instead of the clamp arrangement.

Thanks for all the info...at this point, I think I will just keep the 1100cc. But if I ever go the 1275cc route, I’ll make sure I get an exhaust system with it.

sorry to come at this late - it might be worth considering a header instead.
