What are these SU carbies from?

Someone gave me these years ago, thinking I would put them on my Sprite - which I haven't done.

Does anyone know what they were originally from?

Many thanks

Greg

MG T type I think, TC or TD, though they look a bit big. What diameter are they?

I just Googled some pictures of engines of TCs and TDs. They do have a large chunk of aluminium attached to the carbs, but I think it looks a different shape to the ones on my set.

Any other suggestions are welcome??

Thanks

Greg

Possibly from the Big 4 Riley engine, used in several 1940s and 50s models until the dreaded BMC swept Riley away.

Apparently the later TD's (MkII and up) used 1.5" carbs, I will bet that the TF's did too
