Darth Vader - R.I.P

TMZ just announced that Debbie Reynolds has just died as the result of a fatal heart attack. So soon after her daughter Carrie. Two notables lost forever.

I believe it was a stroke (likely, in part, induced by the death of her daughter).

probably go down in history as; "her mother died of a broken heart".

as coincidences will happen:
I am reading a biography of Teddy Roosevelt. & Had an eerie sense of dejavu, as I just read:

"on Feb. 14th 1884 both his wife (age 22) & his mother (age 50) died of different ailments in the Roosevelt mansion in NYC."

parallels in grief if nothing else.

this was his diary entry for that day.

Speaking of Coincidences, Thomas Jefferson and John Adams both died on July 4th, 1826 - 50 years to the day after the date of the Declaration of Independence. They had been friends, then became bitter rivals when they joined opposing parties, but later reconciled when they had both finished their Presidencies. John Adams' last words were "Thomas Jefferson lives." Jefferson had died earlier that day.

Looks like the Pub is turning into an obituary column.
