Bugeye bonnet and entire rear clip

I have just pulled a original steel Bugeye bonnet and entire rear clip from storage. I had planned to make a trailer out of the rear clip, but I just have too many projects to hang onto it. I also have a later Spridget bonnet. I have a trimmed out boot opening and boot lid to make the trunk opening for the rear clip.

Located in the SF Bay Area for pickup. Contact me for pricing if you are interested and have a way to retrieve. I've owned the bonnet since 1968. both are good condition with only very minor rust in lower wings.

Would they happen to be from the BE you drove to California, Gerard??

Yep, the bonnet is, but the rear clip is from a different car. I've had that one hanging around for about 20 years...:encouragement:

Too bad you didn't make Midget 50, it would have been nice to meet up with one of the other west coast folks. I regret not making it to MG 2016 especially after i found out several members from the local club did go. San Diego for MG 2017 looks like it will be more of a challenge than Louisville. Might have to give Bill M a shout and see how much floor space he has though!;)

Thanks for the sentiment Kurt, I would have loved that too. I have just had too much on my plate to have taken that much time off (see my new post here), and besides, neither of my Sprites were in any condition to be able to attend. I've just finished one long term project, and now have 3 more (Bugeye, Morris Minor Pickup, and '37 Chevy) to attend to, and hopefully have enough time left to enjoy. Oh, then there's the "man cave" project I have planned too.
