This was a 1958 Ford Nucleon, concept of a concept.
the plan was to power it with a pint size nuclear reactor & steam turbine, in the trunk.
Ford went so far as to plan reactor service stations to support the cars.
The concept died a natural death when it was determined a miniature reactor could not be made.

yep, your right. Ford Corp. apparently didn't put to much thought into the impact of such technology.
