Happy Monday everyone! I'm starting to search for a 210 rebuilt transmission, but I would prefer a complete setup if available. As most of you know I lost everything in a fire and I really need everything from the cooling fan to the 3.9 rear end. The setup I lost was one that included what I consider the best of all combinations and at this point I will consider both Gerards and Rivergates kit. I'm also looking for a complete rebuilt 1275 outright as I have no cores...mine was a .060 over, 9.5:1, 276 cam with a ported head and all arp hardware...it even had a timing cover stiffener to prevent leaks. If you have one or know someone who does I would love to talk to you!
Thanks, Rut

Rut, try Mickey Pleasant in SAN Diego. He has a number of rebuilt 1275's available.

Great ideas!
Thanks, Rut

I second Jim Gruber, but you better hurry because he sold his Bugeye and he may be getting out of the business of building 1275's

and Rut did you get the note I sent you about my spare 1275

Jim,
I spoke with Mickey yesterday and he sent me all the info I needed. Funny that while I was based out of Carlsbad for 10 years I was not at the Bugeye stage yet...I was just starting to look. I will probably go with paying the core charge once (if) we get the insurance sorted out.
Thanks, Rut
