Woke up this AM to very strong winds and rain/ sleet that later turned to light snow. Later in the morning it's still windy but snow has stopped for now.

Yuck, snow. Hope it doesn't last to long. It was 36 degrees and sunny when I got up this morning... I took my 6 out for a morning coffee run.

It's now 9AM and snow is gone, sun is out. Still cold and windy though as we are about to head out for church.

We drove up to our place in the Poconos on Friday morning, and I had to shovel a couple of inches of snow off of the front porch. I understood that there were about 6 to 8 inches there earlier, but we were glad to see it mostly gone when we arrived. So this morning we drove towards home through sleet and snow, but a few miles south on the PA Turnpike's NE Extension the road was dry and it was sunny and comfortable outside when we got back to the Lehigh Valley.
