I saw an article about scholarships for accordion players
in the local paper - struck me as a little humorous.
I read somewhere that the definition of an optimist was
an accordion player with a pager.

Love it! my brother played backup on a friend's Accordian CD - lots of Bachman Turner Overdrive tunes - apparently they are also great polkas. At any rate the CD launch was called "A Night of a thousand accordians" and, anyone who ever took lessons could come to the open mike!

Have to admit - there's some accordeon music I'd sure like to hear again ...

knew a girl once who played the accordion and always had a little trouble when playing it up close

I'm left handed, and played the accordion for years. NOW I find out about the scholarships!

I played the 12 Base but quit because I didn't know about a scholarship. Not really but didn't think I could just post this.

:encouragement:
