Success changing iPhone 5 Battery!

I had been resisting upgrading from my iPhone 5 because, well, the 5 did everything I needed and more. But recently the front screen literally popped off, which I determined was due to the battery swelling. So as I posted in another thread, I upgraded to the 7 (not thee plus). It;s a little bigger than the 5 but not a huge amount.

I ordered a replacement battery for the 5 and, with help of Youtube how-to vids, I was able to put a new battery in the 5 and get it back together. It still works great so I'm going to give it to my younger son who currently has a 4.

You can find how to do just about anything on YouTube!

My iphone and also my wifes are both i5s. Since your original post, it has me wondering just how long these batteries will last. Sure wouldn't want that to happen while were carrying them. Did all the 5s have the same battery? Does the 6 have a different battery? PJ

The place where I bought my battery www.macsales.com sells a different battery for the 5 vs 5s and I'm not sure they are interchangeable. They do not sell batteries for the 6 but I've read tutorials that suggest the 6 battery can also be changed, I'm just not sure where to get one.
