Ok, I know it's a bit of history, kinda sort of, but someone is smoking some funny stuff:

IF I had a million laying around, I "might" consider a million for the entire cycle, but for the chute hatch?

A bit like that 1955 Austin Healey that supposed caused the terrible accident at LeMans (dozens killed when the Mercedes flew into the crowd). They wanted $1 million for that re-constructed infamous car.
