Is it best to start at the bottom of the glass for the lip pull in of the rubber or from the top of the seal ?

I start at the bottom using a small nylon cord and wearing gloves. It takes two people with one pushing the glass down into the rubber channel while you pull the lip out using the cord. It's kind of a PITA, but it works.
 
A little off topic but I have a spare TR6 windshield that is looking for a new home. I'll deliver within 50 miles of SW CT or you pay the freight and I'll ship it. No charge.
 
Make sure that you have a small but STRONG cord to use. You do not want the cord to break mid stream of the process. I also start from the bottom and finish at the top. And you do it while the frame is mounted to the car.

Thank you for the help, I have installed other WS in the past but never a Triumph. Just wanted to check for sure. :fat:

I had the same questions and did it myself back in April. If you read my last post from that thread, it explains what I did. I did some work off the car and some on. So far, all is good. I haven't had any leaks yet..
