While in Iceland, we stayed in an airport hotel - part of the old air force base, at the back, in the industrial park, past where they brought stolen cars to strip them and pretty near to where they hid the bodies and kept the hostages.

This is what it looked like outside our window:



As part of that grouping of mechanical waste, there was this:





and the door was unlocked



I have no idea what it is - looks like a Steyr- Puch of some description but I can't find anything that looks like it. The key had three initials (which I have forgotten) and said "made in the UK" on it.

It was without a doubt one of the coolest vehicles I saw the whole trip - any ideas?
 
BTW those pictures were taken about 11 PM!
 
Looked at a bunch of Steyr-Puch pictures and could not find any exactly like that, but some were close:

I think you've got it - thanks! Now to find one. And, it looks like it was built in the UK so eligible for British Shows!
