These lifts have been the subject of conversation in the past on BCF.

But I am wondering if anyone has experience with them on a 3A?
(the width & length may not be compatible)

all in all it has gotten very good reviews.

Never tried one as a 4-post doesn't cost much more:

I realize not everyone has the ceiling height or dedicated space for a lift but there is so much more you can do with one if you can swing it.

a four or two post is best without question, (sigh)
Maybe in my next life:
speaking of my next life;
I had my car up on 4 wheel pillars (2x4 towers, Geo's basic design from a previous post.)
also had left a little weight on the rolling Jack up front (what could it hurt, right?)
had the car situated at an angle in the garage, for more access..
my wife happens to come home early and doesn't see the Jack handle (which I stupidly left extended into the other bay )
Strikes it as she pulls in, dislodges the wooden block (holding more of the weight than I thought), resting on the Jack pad and caused the whole car to shift & wobble.
it was pretty exciting from my perspective under the transmission. Only thing that saved my wife from collecting the life insurance was the wooden pillars. As wide as they are, three of them still caught the wheels.

that brings me back to a better alternative to rolling jacks.

Yikes!

When I am working in the garage under the car my wife will wander through every once in awhile on some excuse or just to say 'Hi'. I know she is just checking to see if I have managed to do serious harm to myself - sweet of her to keep an eye on me (someone should).

I have a friend who has one for his F5 Cobra. He loves it!

Thanks Bill,

Glad to hear it.
I went ahead and ordered one from automotive equipment specialist, as it seems like my best option.
(BL-3500 is on sale for $850.00)

I'll soon be able to answer my on question.
