Was able to take Maggie out for a short spin this evening after work. Still have some sorting out to do (clutch adjustments, master cylinder leak, etc) but she is running. The altitude here is always a challenge -- my house is at 5550', and many drives around here go over 9000'. I've at least got it close enough that I can drive around locally. In the next week or so I'll try and do a full tuneup and get her running better.

Still, a drive is a drive!

wonderful!!!

Good progress Drew. ...but what about Penny? Are you neglecting her? :sorrow:

Penny is resting right now -- one car at a time. Besides, I'm learning a lot that I can apply to the work I need to do with Penny.

My time and financial resources right now are limited, so I'm trying to focus on at least having one car that I can drive. When I bought the Morris I thought I'd be able to use it out of the box, but sadly that did not turn out to be the case. Resources I wanted to use for Penny got diverted. Ah well, it happens. Hopefully I'm near the end of the big spends on Maggie, so I can work on rebuilding the car fund.

That first drive is always the one that makes you realize the work is worth it.
