No question it’s not a ’72 due to the square arches, but the dead giveaway it’s an original 1500 for certain are the second set of jacking points at the rear of the rockers, just in front of the rear wheels. Along with increased structural additions for the front and rear bumpers, that was a new feature added with the introduction of the 1500 Midget. No models preceding it had those.

I'm sure it's a hoot to drive and I love the concept, but title fraud sadly makes it illegal pretty much anywhere.
